...so, Hikaru's not here, yet?

Well, it's summer vacation, so maybe he'll apply soon. I mean, if I can get in, he certainly can. We're twins, after all. ...kind of like we have the same mind? ...maybe. Well, at least...there might be something to do. I heard California has cute clothes.

...but I still think our mom can design better. <s>At least I'm not modeling for her female line.</s>

Naaa, it's so boring! No one here to prank, since...the 'mastermind' isn't even here. Maybe I'll send him a letter or something.

...well...he'll show up eventually. We're hardly ever apart, so~.

There's a good chance we can have...fun here.

Teacher? (+ Grade Level or Teaching Subject): Student, <s>Freshmeat</s> Freshman.
Character's Personality: Kaoru is what your average teenage boy may be. Mischievous, sly, and a joker. However, he isn't that type 24/7. Kaoru can actually be really nice and calm, not one to get really riled up and start screaming at something. He's somewhat mature, able to handle situations to the best of his abilities. He's only cunning around his brother, Hikaru. The two play pranks usually, having little Devilish ideas in their mind. He's a level nicer than his brother, however, and he's the type that'd do anything for his twin.

Loyal and friendly, Kaoru's nice to everyone he meets at first. He tends to get to know the people before he says that he doesn't necessarily like them. It's rare to pull out the angry side of Kaoru, who's usually calm and collective about everything. :D He's more thoughtful and considerate of people's feelings, and probably would be the one who'd let people cry on his shoulder.
Character's History: Kaoru Hitachiin is the youngest of twins, by how much time is actually uncertain. He's also the heir to the Hitachiin fortune, his mother a famous fashion designer for celebrities and the like. It's no wonder why Kaoru chose to go to Woodgrove. The setting is perfect, right near the beach, and plus; he had the money and the smarts. Having a fashion designer for a mother brings a lot of good style as well, which is what the twins have. However, fashion sense might not be enough.

Even though they were rich, had good looks and good clothes, Hikaru and Kaoru were quite lonely as children. Growing up, Kaoru's only friend was his older brother. They played with each other all the time, only needing the other for companionship. Everyone else in the world was unneeded, and Kaoru became quite codependent on his identical twin. In school, they made the grade, almost at the top of their classes. They had no friends throughout middle school, seeing as they already had each other. The two made up two worlds 'us' and 'them'.

However, time went on and the two decided to grow up a little. Once the Hitachiins moved to California, it was about time to start thinking of high schools. Kaoru, decided on Woodgrove. It seemed nice, quiet, and a good place for an education. Plus, it was a private academy. He wouldn't have to be bothered too much by his parents, either. The younger twin hopes to grow more as a person at the Academy, but if he does?

Only time can tell for that answer.

Third Person Sample: Kaoru groaned, opening the door to one of the room's the school provided. He had already got lost on his way to the place, even if it was actually not that hard to find, once he got directions. He smiled a little, glad he didn't have to lug his stuff to the place. No parents, no one to bother him...it was perfect. Another smile as he went and plopped down on the bed, glad to at least know it was big and comfortable. A sigh and he stared at the ceiling, wondering who he'd be rooming with for the time. He made little images up in his mind, wondering if they'd be nice or mean, already thinking of the outcomes of a mean roomate. He almost let a laugh escape his lips, but instead, he sat up and looked out a window, knowing how well the California weather was.

Alright. This is already getting boring...aha! Why not go to the beach? After a small inner chat with himself, the youngest of the Hitachiin family sat up, stretching slightly as he went to change into a more fitting outfit for the beach. Kaoru knew full well a trip to the beach might be more eventful then being lazy and sleeping all day. A grin and he took his key and identification card, looking around and grabbing sunglasses in order to prevent from being blinded by the sun. He let himself out of the room, locking it and making the trip down to the front. He smiled at the kids playing in the public park, making sure he avoided getting caught into playing with one of them.

He made his way as fast as he could toward the beach, making a dash across the sand to find the perfect place to lounge, sunglasses on in order to shield his eyes from the blazing rays. A grin as he tilted his head toward the sky, looking at the crystal clear ocean water. A serene setting calmed the young male, hoping his times in high school would be just as calm as the beach was that lovely day.
First Person Sample: Aha...I seem to have gotten lost in the halls. This school's huge. Oi, I can't even begin to describe this place. It's good to take a break from mom and dad, though. Ha, they're not even around that much, anyway. And Hikaru...I don't even know if the lazy bum's going to end up in this school with me.

...I have a bad feeling I'm going to get lost again. I just hope I can get use to this place...I don't want to end up lost and confused all the time, late for my classes, or something else...but...

This place is so...

It's...so....

...boriiiing. I might just go to the beach or something.

...yep. I think the beach really is a great idea. Nothing exciting seems to be happening here...oh well! I'm sure I can find something to do if I look hard enough. Either the beach, or the library. Maybe I can find a good book to read or something...naa. That can be saved for another day. The beach is for now! It's such great weather, after all!

Time to get some sun~.

What sound does a Chocobo make? Kweeeeeeh~~. :3
